Women's Basketball!

Everyone should know that I love basketball!  This past year Jacob got me into college basketball!  We went to many UT basketball games!  It was so much fun!  Especially since Pat Summit is such an amazing lady and has so much history with womens basketball!  It was cool to watch her coach in person!
Since we love basketball in our house and we got an amazing coupon for buy one get one free for admission to the Women's Hall of Fame we decided to use it!  Here are a lot of pictures that I thought were interesting!  Enjoy!

Rules from 1923.  I liked "Eat whatever is served at meals excpect coffee and tea."  Also "bed every night from 10 o'clock until 6:30 am."

106 points in one game!  Amazing!  We also read that she was good at track and field and golf.  That basketball wasn't her best sport!  If only I could be like that!

This is what the women wore while playing basketball back in the day!  Crazy!  I so couldn't play in that!  What is funny is that the men weren't allowed to watch them practice because they were immodest!

Texas A&M!  NCAA Women's Championship 2011! :) :)

Pat Summit had a plaque.  This is what it said on the side.

Hard to see.  Says in summary:  Feb. 5, 2009 Pat Summit reached 1,000 wins which is more wins than any other coach, man or woman.  And to think that was 2 years ago!

The seven girls in women's history to dunk!  haha!  Two from Tennessee!

They had training areas so Jacob decided to work on his dribbling! (He isn't the best!  Shhhh!)

Jumping area to see how high you can reach.  He reached 9 feet which I think is amazing because he is white!  haha!

So they had a couple of hoops that we could play at.  This one was a replica of women's hoops back in the day!  We got our balls stuck....maybe we weren't suppose to shoot at this hoop!  Opps!

Doesn't he look great as a female basketball player?!  haha!

haha!  me!

This is the only type of dunking I'll ever be able to do!

After a million tries we got a semi-decent one!

The big basketball on top of the museum.

We had a lot of fun! We are glad we were able to go before we left!
